I feel totally let down. Shakespeare’s has been in Iowa city ever since I can remember I mean for at least 20 years right ??? I have driven by it 1000 times and never gone there. I got this idea to try something new. this place is cool I ordered the wings, their wings are outstanding they definitely trumped the vine !! Really nice people working there, a good atmosphere, tasty food, what’s not to like! thanks Shakespeare for a great night!

Feel silly giving a bar restaurant 5 stars, but maybe I should. For what the kitchen is, their soups are amazing as well as their vegetarian black bean burger. Everyone has their favorites, I'm sure. Always great service, good atmosphere.

American pub, decent food, drink specials. They host events some days like 'Know the Tune' and 'Karaoke'. Taco Tuesday is a community favorite!

Great service. Fun place for NFL Sundays. Smoked wings are excellent.
