With fresh produce, greenhouse plants, and all the fixings of a working farm, Kroul Farms is an experience for the whole family. Flowers in the spring, produce in the summer, pumpkins in the fall, and firewood in the winter. The Kroul family prides themselves on practicing sustainable farming methods, like utilizing cover crops and natural fertilizers. In 1946 Howard and Elizabeth Kroul married and began raising their five kids on a family farm south of Mount Vernon. They raised corn and soybeans as well as cattle and pigs. Their family values and strong work ethic were instilled in their children and a legacy was born. Kroul Farms is a place for all to enjoy. Whether you’re here for the fresh produce and the potted plants, or to experience a working farm with your family, there is always something going on. Come visit us on Hwy. 1 from April through October.
