We were visiting from out of town and had lunch there today. Our waiter was a fun guy He talked around with us but was also very attentive. He returned to see how we were and he also brought everything we asked for. The food was pretty good. Two of my sons had the ribs and said they were excellent. I just had a bowl of soup but it was still tasty! We have a Cheddar's back home not too far from our house and it was very similar and just as good! If you're looking for a mid-ranged mid-priced restaurant, I don't think you can go wrong here.

It was okay there was nothing spectacular about the food for the price. It was better than fast food oh, it was pretty decor and clean. The service was nice. My friend suggested that the quality of the food was better when it first opened.

Cheddar's is our #1 favorite place to get a meal when in Iowa City. I had the ribs and tenders meal and it was amazing. I normally hesitate to order ribs because I am picky about good ribs. These were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was wonderful. Portions were large, neither of us could finish our meals - too much food! Give Cheddar's a try, you won't be disappointed.
