War of the Worlds: Panic Broadcast Radio Play

Back to Previous

Originally broadcast in 1938 by Mercury Theatre and directed and narrated by Orson Welles, War of the Worlds: Panic Broadcast is a realistic radio dramatization of a Martian invasion of Earth.

The 2020 pandemic has forced us all to look at live performance in a new way and West High school theatre students have used this opportunity to be creative and take us all back to a simpler time--when radio shows were the main source of family entertainment. So, make a cup of hot chocolate, settle in by the fire, and tune-in to our livestream radio play to enjoy a fantastical performance with your entire family!
