Urban Acres Parade of Homes Free Bike Ride, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome! Riders who also want access to Parade homes and remodeling projects along the route can purchase an official Parade ticket at Urban Acres the morning of the ride or at the Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association office. The ride starts at Urban Acres, 250 Holiday Road in Coralville, with a light breakfast. A closing party will be held at Urban Acres from 4 to 7 p.m. featuring food, live music, and giveaways. Cyclists can pedal a variety of routes or choose their own and they will receive a wristband good toward drink specials at featured local businesses. As riders visit each house, their Parade of Homes ticket will be punched. Parade of Homes tickets can be purchased for $8 at Iowa City’s Home Builder’s Association on Gilbert Street in Iowa City or the morning of the bike ride at Urban Acres.
