He is reunited with the state's senior senator--presidential hopeful and childhood hero, Senator Joseph Paine. Taylor first tries to corrupt Smith and then later attempts to destroy Smith through a scandal.

Starring James Stewart, Jean Arthur, and Claude Rains. Based on the story Mr. Smith Goes to Washington by Lewis R. Foster. This movie is approximately 2.25 hours long.  Refreshments including fresh popcorn will be provided.
