The talk will explore the early months of the Hoover Presidency. At that time Hoover had the latitude to address the issues that he campaigned on: agricultural reform, law enforcement and prohibition, prison reform, and improving inland waterways. Some time will be spent covering Hoover Ball and Camp Rapidan as Hoover did allow himself time for rest and relaxation before the Stock Market Crash and Depression.
Lecture is free with paid Museum admission.
