Becca Sutlive has been honing her songwriting skills ever since she picked up her dad's love of music and his Guild guitar when she was twelve years old. With a voice and style that's been compared to the likes of Lucinda Williams, Chrissy Hynde, Sheryl Crow and Van Morrison, Sutlive has always maintained her own brand of homegrown, Iowa folk-rock. After recording and releasing her debut album, One Bedroom Apartment, in Iowa City in 2003, Sutlive spent the next eight years living and playing in San Francisco. Highlights included an opening gig for a Sting and Annie Lennox concert. Family ties brought her back to Iowa in 2011 and have kept her busy since. Fans and friends alike know it's an affair not-to-be-missed when this musician and mom-of-three makes it out to play a show!
