Come out to FilmScene on Saturday, September 2nd at 11pm to see John Krasinski's directorial debut, A Quiet Place.

In John Krasinski's A Quiet Place, a family of four (Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you. Free for UI students with a valid student ID!

"Simmonds, who is herself deaf, & who starred in Wonderstruck, last year, makes a greater impact still as the indomitable Regan, with her secretive smile. Her hearing aid is vital to the plot, and, indeed, the whole saga is shaped around its sound design." - Anthony Lane, The New Yorker

"A Quiet Place is an undoubtedly taxing affair for the nerves; fortunately, it's also a deeply affecting one." - David Sims, The Atlantic
