Not sure what to do during the colder months? Here’s your guide for enjoying North Liberty with indoor activities on a weekend morning.
Start with brunch! My favorite spot to enjoy is Tin Roost for the $1 weekend mimosa special as well as the avocado toast with sunny side up egg and spicy mayo. Other favorites include the brunch burger and biscuits and gravy. If I’m more in the mood for a solo morning at the coffee shop catching up on a book instead of brunch, I love the ambiance of Cafe Muse. The décor is sleek and the latte art is picture-perfect.
After brunch, I love to hit up a yoga class. Bliss Yoga Studio offers a range of classes for different levels and interests, including pilates, meditation, and relaxation. I personally love the more rigorous vinyasa classes on Saturday and Sunday morning. The studio includes a daily drop in rate and punch card option for those looking to check it out.
After a good workout is a perfect time to relax at a salon or spa. Morning Sun Massage and Spa is great for a morning out with a group, as it provides the full suite of spa services including facials, microdermabrasion, sugaring and waxing. The massage parlor includes Swedish, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Couples, and Prenatal massages. Appointments can be booked online.
I end my day with shopping. Real Deals on Home Decor has tasteful home and seasonal décor as well as a clothing boutique, jewelry, and a flower section. Complimentary water and coffee is also available for shoppers.
Not ready to end the day yet? Head out for an early dinner of margaritas and tacos at Fiesta Mexican Restaurant. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and is known for its seafood specialties.
