Community Grant Program
The Iowa City Area Community Grant Program was established to support events that are open to the general public. Funds are available to further develop events that improve the quality of life for residents of the Iowa City area and have the potential to attract visitors to the area or to enhance a visitor’s experience. Potential grant projects can be cultural, educational, literary, recreational or artistic. Each recipient may be awarded up to $5,000 for an approved event or project, following a July 1 - June 30 funding cycle with applications due in April of each year.
The application for the FY19 Grant Awards is now available here. Funding is for projects and expenditures that occur between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 only. Applications must be submitted by noon on April 15, 2018. Please email Nick Pfeiffer for more information or questions about the program.
