Community Grant Program

The Iowa City Area Community Grant Program was established to support events that are open to the general public. Funds are available to further develop events that improve the quality of life for residents of the Iowa City area and have the potential to attract visitors to the area or to enhance a visitor’s experience. Potential grant projects can be cultural, educational, literary, recreational or artistic. Each recipient may be awarded up to $5,000 for an approved event or project, following a July 1 - June 30 funding cycle with applications due in April of each year.

The applications for the FY22 are due by April 15, 2021. Please email Monica Nieves for more information or questions about the program. A pdf version of the application and the follow-up report can be utilized for drafting purposes. Please submit your responses via the link below.
