City Park is Iowa City’s largest park covering over 107 acres. Scattered with over 14 picnic shelters and picnic tables, it easily becomes a gathering place for many. Activity options include basketball courts, bocce courts, horshoecourts, play equipment, softball and baseball fields, sand volleyball and tennis courts, trails and more. Amusement rides: Open noon to 7:00pm M-F, noon to 6pm Saturday and Sunday, starting late May 2017 through late September, 2017. Cost is $1 per ride or $8 for a 10-punch card.
